By this petition, the petitioners seek a direction to the respondent no.2-Director and Additional Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Nagpur to take cognizance of the complaints made by the petitioners in respect of the misappropriation of funds and other illegalities committed by the respondent nos.4 and 5 with the help of the respondent no.7.

Shri Khubalkar, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent nos.1 to 4 and 6, states, on the basis of a communication received from the Director of Textiles, dated 27.08.2015 (that is placed on record) that the complaints of the petitioners had been looked into by the respondent no.2-Director and Additional Registrar of the Cooperative Societies and the same had been forwarded to the Regional Deputy Director, Textile Department, Nagpur. It is stated that the preliminary report was prepared by the Regional Deputy Director, Textiles Department, Nagpur and the complaints made by the petitioners subsequently are remitted by the Director and Additional Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Nagpur to the Regional Deputy Director, Textiles Department, Nagpur for further action. It is stated that the respondents are looking into the matter and an appropriate action would be taken after a final report is prepared.

WP4881-15 By accepting the statement made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader on behalf of the respondent nos.2 and 3, we dispose of the writ petition with no order as to costs. JUDGE JUDGE APTE
