By this writ petition, the petitioner has only sought a direction to the respondents to release the truck of the petitioner as the petitioner has paid the penalty that is imposed on the petitioner under the provisions of Section 48(7) of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966.

Shri Rode, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents, states that though the petitioner was asked by the respondent-Authorities to take the truck, the petitioner has not approached the respondents.

The aforesaid statement is disputed by the petitioner.

In view of the aforesaid, the respondents should release the truck of the petitioner as soon as the petitioner approaches the respondents for securing the same. The writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. JUDGE JUDGE APTE
