This application has been opposed by the learned A.P.P. for the State.

The applicant is in jail since 01/7/2016. Major part of the investigation is already over. The prosecutrix is married woman. The first information report has been filed about four days after the incident. In the circumstances, I am of the view that the applicant is entitled to be released on bail. Hence, the order. The application is allowed and it is directed that the applicant be released on bail on his furnishing a P. R. Bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- together with one solvent surety in the like amount on the conditions that he shall regularly attend the Court on the dates fixed in the matter, shall cooperate with the Court in expeditious disposal of the case against him and shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence.
