The applicant is arrested on 25.05.2017 in connection with Crime No.221 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 376(2)(f)(n), 114 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 4, 6 and 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. The crime is registered on the complaint lodged by Ku. Balvidhya Sughandraj Mokdam (aged about 16 years) alleging that the applicant has sexually assaulted her for 2 years till 12th May, 2017. The complaint is lodged on 24th May, 2017.

The applicant, aged about 42 years, is a Teacher by profession and is running coaching classes. The applicant has stated that he is not involved in any other crime/offence. The applicant is in jail for almost 8 weeks. The non-applicant has not been able to point out that further custody of the applicant is required for investigation.

2 ba663.17 In the facts of the case, following order is passed: The applicant having been arrested in connection with Crime No.221 of 2017 registered by the non-applicant, he be released on bail on executing P. R. Bond for Rs.25,000/- and furnishing one solvent surety in the like amount.
