This is an application for condonation of delay. The delay caused is of 274 days. The applicant is convicted by the learned Additional Judge, Gondia in Special Case No.6 of 2013 whereby the applicant is convicted for the offence punishable under Section 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and under Sections 294, 341, 354(A)(i)(iv) read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The applicant is in jail. Heard Shri I.S. Charlewar, learned counsel for the applicant and Shri A.H. Laddhad, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

For the reasons stated in the application for condonation of delay and looking to the fact that the applicant is in jail, the application is allowed. The delay of 274 days in filing the appeal challenging the judgment and order of conviction is
