Perused the affidavit-in-reply filed by learned Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the State. This Court while granting interim protection already considered the merits of the allegations. A perusal of reply filed on behalf of the State does not show any other ground for not confirming the interim protection granted to the appellant.

In such circumstances, considering the nature of the offence and the allegations, the interim protection granted to the appellant by this Court vide order dated 23/12/2020 is made absolute on the following additional conditions :

(i) The applicant to attend the

15cri.apeal525.2020.odt concerned police station once in a month i.e. on every first Thursday of the month between 12.00 noon and 2.00 p.m.

(ii) The applicant shall not give threats to the witnesses or tamper with the evidence.

(iii) The applicant shall not leave his local jurisdiction without prior intimation to the concerned police station.
