DATED : 21 - 1 1 -201 By order dated 18-6-2018 in Criminal Application 430/2018, this Court directed that Emeka Fever Eforchinachi be released on bail on the following conditions :

"a) Applicant - 2 Emeka Fever Eforchinachi shall be released on furnishing personal bond of Rs.5 lacs with two solvent sureties of like amount.

b) He shall deposit his passport with the Investigating Officer.

c) He shall furnish his address and Cell phone number to the Investigating Officer.

d) He shall scrupulously attend every date of hearing.

e) He shall not tamper with the evidence nor shall directly or indirectly attempt to influence the witnesses in any manner."

The prisoner is still languishing in jail since he is not in a position to furnish surety, he being a foreign national.

The prisoner has addressed communication to this Court stating that he would be in a position to furnish cash security of Rs.1,00,000/-.

The request of the prisoner that the condition of bail be modified is just and reasonable.

The condition imposed in order dated 18-6-2018 that Emeka Fever Eforchinachi shall be released on furnishing personal bond of Rs.5 lacs with two solvent sureties of like amount is modified and instead it is directed that Emeka Fever Eforchinachi be released on furnishing cash security of Rs.1,00,000/-.

The order dated 18-6-2018 is modified to the aforesaid extent. Needless to say that the rest of the conditions remained unaltered.
