DATED : 17/07/2025.

Heard.

2.

A small request is made in this petition to issue direction to respondent No.1 to decide the application moved by the petitioner for grant of furlough leave. The application was filed on 10.10.2024, which shows that from last nine months, it has not been decided. The statutory period to decide such application is 45 days.

3.

In that view of the matter, we are of the opinion that the relief sought in the present petition can be granted even not issuing the notice to the respondents.

4.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1 to decide the application of the petitioner for furlough leave dated 10.10.2024 within a period of 10 days from today.

5.

Learned APP undertakes to communicate this order to respondent No.1.
