JULY 28, 2025 By present application, the applicant, who is in jail, is seeking to condone delay of 668 days in filing the appeal. He has been convicted under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, and is sentenced to undergo life imprisonment.
2] The ground put forth by the applicant for condoning the delay is in financial crunch. Another ground put forth by the applicant is that he was not having any idea of remedy available to him.
3] In view of above and for the reasons set out in the application, the same is allowed, as prayed for. Delay of 668 days in filing the appeal stands condoned. Appeal be registered and processed as per Rules. 4] The application is disposed of.
