DATE : 20/07/2018 The petitioner has an alternate remedy of challenging the order passed by the Tahsildar by filing an appeal under Section 247 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code,1966 and for release of the vehicle to approach the Magistrate.

Hence, the criminal writ petition is dismissed on this ground. All questions are left open.
