One of the grievance of the petitioner is that the respondents are liable to punished for commission of criminal contempt as defined in Section 2 (c) of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971.
In view of Section 18 of the Act of 1971, the petition complaining commission of the criminal contempt cannot be taken up for hearing by Single Judge. Office to verify and list the contempt petition before appropriate bench.
