Shri P. M. Sinha, Advocate for petitioner.

Shri N. S. Deshpande, ASGI for respondent No.1. CORAM : A. S. CHANDURKAR AND URMILA JOSHI-PHALKE, JJ. DATE : August 24, 2022 Considering the limited prayer made, Rule. Rule made returnable forthwith and heard the learned counsel for the parties. Shri N. S. Deshpande, learned ASGI waives notice for respondent No.1. Notice on respondent No.2 is dispensed with considering the nature of order proposed to be passed. At the behest of the petitioner a reference has been made to the Central Government Industrial Tribunal to answer the question as to whether the dismissal of the petitioner from service by the respondent No.2 on 16/09/1995 is just and legal. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite such reference having been made in July 2019, the same has not been yet adjudicated.

In these facts and as the petitioner is stated to be senior citizen, it is directed that the Tribunal shall consider and decide the reference within period of six months from the date of production of this order before the Registrar of the Tribunal. With aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
