The grievance of the petitioner is non-promotion on the post of Extension Officer Grade-II Class-III (Technical Services) with Zilla Parishad, Yavatmal. According to the petitioner despite being eligible for being so promoted, he has been deprived of such promotion from the year 2021. A representation dated 14.06.2023 in that regard has been made to the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Yavatmal.

In these facts, the interests of justice would be served by directing the respondent no.2 to decide the petitioner's representation dated 14.06.2023 in accordance with law by giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of four weeks of receiving the copy of this order. The decision taken on the representation shall be communicated to the petitioner. 3.

If the grievance of the petitioner survives even thereafter, he is free to take legal recourse in accordance with law.
