This writ petition pertains to the disqualification of the petitioner for non-furnishing caste validity certificate in respect of elections of Gram Panchayat, which were held in 2015. The interim relief was granted in favour of the petitioner on 28.07.2017.

(2) Learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Government Pleader for respondent nos.1 to 3 submitted that the term of the Gram Panchyat is already over and fresh elections are conducted on 15.01.2021 therefore this writ petition has rendered infructuous.
