By this criminal application, the applicants seek the quashing and setting aside of the first information report registered against the applicants for the offence punishable under Section 498-A read with Section 34 of the Penal Code. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents states that the charge-sheet is filed in the year 2015 and the trial has proceeded against the applicants.

Since the charge-sheet is filed in the year 2015, we are not inclined to consider granting the relief in this criminal application. The criminal application is disposed of with no order as to costs.

The points raised in the same are kept open.
