Mr. V.A. Thakre, APP for Respondent.

CORAM : NITIN W. SAMBRE, J.

DATED : AUGUST 20, 2018.

For the FIR No.172 of 2017 registered on 14.10.2017 for an offence punishable under Sections 302, 397 of the Indian Penal Code, the applicant is seeking regular bail. It is the case of the applicant that he is falsely implicated in the crime in question. He was subjected to custodial interrogation and after completion of investigation, charge sheet is already filed. There are no criminal antecedents.

Per contra, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Shri Thakre, would oppose the claim and submits that there is enough evidence on the record to infer the involvement of the applicant in the crime in question.

Perused the charge-sheet.

The applicant/accused came to be arrested on 15.10.2017. His father is also a co-accused in the crime in question. The statement of accomplice in categorical terms speaks of involvement of the applicant in the crime in question. Apart from above, there is sufÏcient circumstantial

BA681-18.odt evidence which connects the applicant's prima facie involvement in the crime in question.

For the aforesaid reasons, no case for bail is made out. Application is rejected.
