DATED : 3 rd AUGUST, 2016 The present petition is filed by the petitioner contending therein that though the complaint filed by the petitioner discloses the offence under section 3(i)(x) of the Prevention of Atrocities Act, 1989, the First Information Report is not registered.

Prima facie it appears that the complaint in question is lodged by the petitioner on account of certain previous incidences between the respondent and the petitioner. In that view of the matter, we are not inclined to entertain the petition in the extraordinary writ jurisdiction. If the petition so desires, he may take recourse to the alternate remedy available in law.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above observations. The fees to be paid to the appointed counsel is quantified as Rs.1500/-.
