Heard Shri K.S. Narwade, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Ms. H.N. Prabhu, learned A.G.P. for respondent nos. 1 and 3.

This Court has issued notice on 13.07.2018 and parties were directed to maintain status quo. The matter was listed on 03.08.2018, and was adjourned, as service report was awaited. Last office endorsement show that respondent no.2 was served on 01.08.2018 itself, i.e. prior to 03.08.2018.

Today though period of about 5 weeks had expired thereafter, there is no appearance for

Order 1009wp4167.18 respondent no.2. Learned A.G.P. has only appeared for respondent nos. 1 and 3.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the petitioner has already reported at transferred place and being a widow, is facing difficulties. He points out special status and treatment given to ladies like petitioner in transfer policy. According to him, vacancies are still available in the vicinity. 5.

In this situation, we grant petitioner an opportunity to make appropriate representation to the Chief Executive Officer of respondent no.2, within a period of two weeks from today. If such a representation is made and vacancies available in the vicinity are pointed out, respondent no.2 shall consider the placement of petitioner against such vacancy, within next four weeks.

With these directions, we dispose of the present Writ Petition. No costs.
