Shri H.A.Deshpande, the learned counsel for the petitioner, states that the writ petition was filed for seeking the pensionary benefits and fixation of pay scale. It is stated that during the pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner has started receiving the pension and the petitioner is not interested in seeking the fixation of his pay scale. It is stated that the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed in respect of the pensionary benefits and the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the writ petition any longer. In view of the statement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, we dispose of the writ petition with no order as to costs.
