The petitioner availed the assistance of the Yes Bank in the matter of processing RTGS and NEFT transactions.

On 24-5-2023, under the aforesaid arrangement with the Yes Bank, the online fraud was committed, thereby siphoning of the amount of Rs.1,21,16,000/-, which was credited in the account of the petitioner. 3.

The petitioner having realized such fraud lodged a complaint with the police authorities.

In such an eventuality, the petitioner claims that he has a right to approach before the Adjudicating Officer, which post is occupied by the State Secretary for Information Technology.

The petitioner's claim is that the complaint preferred by them is not decided till this date.

In this background, we deem it appropriate to direct the respondent No.2 to decide the complaint of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of four months from the date of production of this order.

We permit the petitioner to appear before the respondent No.2 on 12-8-2024.

With these directions, the petition stands disposed of. 9.
