Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to amend the title clause of respondent No.5.

Permission is granted. Amendment be carried out forthwith. 3.

By way of present petition, the petitioner has made following prayers :- i) Direct the respondents authorities to pay interest on awarded compensation amount as per Section 34 of the Land Acquisition Act from 19.04.2011 i.e. date of taking possession to date of actual payment i.e. 17.08.2023 within stipulated time amounts to Rs. 01,02,24,251.19; ii) Direct the respondents authorities to pay interest of calculated interest amount at the rate of 12% per annum for delay cause;

iii) Direct the respondents authorities to pay cost of petition to tune of Rs. 1,00,000/-;

iv) Mould the prayer clauses;

923wp3585.2025.odt v) Grant any other relief which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.

Considering the prayer clauses, we are of the opinion that purpose would be served if Respondent No.5 is directed to treat the present petition as a representation of the petitioner and take a decision after considering the prayers of the petitioner and the documents filed along with the petition.

Accordingly, we disposed of the present petition with a direction to Respondent No.5 to treat the present petition as a representation made by the petitioner and to decide the same, considering the prayer clauses and documents filed along with petition, within a period of eight weeks from the date of furnishing a copy of this order and a copy of the petition along with annexures.

If deemed fit, Respondent No.5 shall grant a hearing to the petitioner before taking a decision. Respondent No.5 is further directed to communicate the decision within a period of two weeks from the date of such decision.
