Operative Part For the reason stated above, this writ petition is allowed and the following order is passed. The order dated 18-07-2019 passed by the respondent No.1- The Scheduled Tribes Caste Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Amravati, invalidating the claim of the petitioner for 'Thakur Scheduled Tribe', is hereby quashed and set aside.

The claim of the petitioner for Thakur Scheduled Tribe, which is an entry at Serial No.44 in the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order, 1950 is held to be valid and the Committee is accordingly directed to

forthwith issue caste validity certificate in the name of the petitioner.

Rule is made absolute in the aforesaid terms. No order as to costs.

We direct the Committee to act accordingly.

The steno copy of the operative portion of this order be supplied to the parties.
