Effort is to demonstrate violation of Government directions not to force Uniforms in school or books in school, on parents. Learned counsel submits that Government has left parents free to effect purchases from open market.

Petitioners claim to be social workers and have approached this Court in Public Interest Litigation.

Though representation may not be mandatory, in present situation, we direct petitioners to make appropriate representation to respondent no.4. If such representation is made within a period of two weeks from today, said respondent shall enquire into the matter within next 4 weeks.

If grievance of petitioners survives thereafter, we grant them liberty to approach again. Accordingly we dispose of the present Public Interest Litigation. No costs.
