This is an application for staying effect and operation and execution of judgment and order, suspension of conviction and sentence, and for grant of bail. 2.

Though the applicant is acquitted of offence under Section 3(1)(x) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 so also of offences under Sections 294 and 506(1) of the Indian Penal Code, he was convicted for offence under Section 323 of the Indian Penal Code and sentenced to suffer simple imprisonment till rising of the Court and payment of fine of Rs.1000/-.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that he is not pressing the present application since the applicant has already undergone the sentence and has already .....2/-

appa654.18 4 deposited the fine amount, however he will be challenging his conviction.

The record shows that the appeal is already admitted.

In that view of the matter, the present application is disposed of as not pressed.
