Apprehending the arrest at the hands of police in connection with Crime No. 134 of 2025 registered with Police Station Rajapeth, District Amravati for the offence punishable under Sections 406, 420 read with Section 120B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, the applicant approached this Court for grant of pre-arrest bail.

Heard learned counsel for the applicant, who submitted that as far as the allegation against the present applicant is concerned, which states that co-accused lured the various investors to invest the amount, and accordingly the investors have invested the amount, and some amount is also paid to the present applicant to invest it in daily needs and financial services. From the recitals of the FIR, except the stray sentence, there is nothing on record that how much amount is paid to the present applicant and when it was
paid. Thus, considering the role attributed to the present applicant, her custodial interrogation is not required, and prays for confirmation of the anticipatory bail.

Learned APP strongly opposed the said application and invited my attention towards the recitals of the FIR and the investigation papers and submitted that the allegation levelled against the present applicant shows that the amount of Rs. 20,00,000/- was paid to the present applicant and the other co-accused, and therefore, her custodial interrogation is required.

On hearing both sides and on perusal of the investigation papers, general allegations are levelled against the present applicant. She has already co-operated with the investigating agency. In view of that, the interim protection granted to the present applicant deserves to be confirmed. Accordingly, I proceed to pass the following order.
a] Criminal application is allowed.
b] The interim protection granted to the present applicant by order dated 09/07/2025 is hereby confirmed.
c] The applicant shall attend the concerned police station once in a week on Monday between 10.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m. till
filing of the charge-sheet, and shall cooperate with the investigating agency.
d] The applicant shall not induce, threat or promise any witnesses who are acquainted with the facts of the present case.
e] The applicant shall not leave the jurisdiction of the Amravati district without prior permission of the District Court Amravati.
f] The applicant shall furnish her detail address along with the address proof and she shall surrender her passport, if she is having before the investigating agency.

Criminal application is disposed of.
