The applicant is arrested on 16th December, 2016 in connection with Crime No.57/2016 registered against him for the offence punishable under Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 4/25 of the Arms Act.

According to the investigating agency, there were constant disputes between the applicant and his wife, and the victim, who happened to be Sarpanch, had gone to the house of applicant to mediate, the applicant got infuriated and assaulted the victim causing injuries on fingers of his left hand, face, cheek, forehead and chin. It is alleged that injuries are caused by knife and the applicant even attempted to kill the victim. Be that as it may, the investigation is

2 ba683.17 complete and charge-sheet is filed on 14th March, 2017. The non-applicant has not been able to point out that further custody of the applicant is required for investigation. The applicant, aged about 32 years, claims to be in private service.

Considering the nature of incident and facts of the case, the following order is passed:

The applicant having been arrested in connection with Crime No.57/2016, he be released on bail on executing P.R. bond for Rs.25,000/- (Rs. Twenty Five Thousand) and furnishing one solvent surety in the like amount.
