By this petition, the petitioner has brought to the notice of this Court that the respondent No. 5 has made encroachment on the government land. The learned counsel for petitioner has further invited our attention to page Nos. 23 and 36 for which the authorities concerned have proposed to take action under the provisions of Maharashtra Regional Town Planning (MRTP) Act. 3.

In the aforesaid background, we direct respondent authorities to take the proceedings initiated under Sections 53(1) and 54 of MRTP Act to the logical end after considering the contentions of the parties concerned. Petition is disposed of. (RAJNISH R. VYAS, J) (ANIL S. KILOR, J) Belkhede, PS
