The present application is filed under Section 445 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

The applicant has preferred revision application before this Court challenging the conviction under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act. This Court vide order dated 12/08/2022 suspended the substantive sentence subject to condition that the applicant shall deposit Rs. 4,00,000/- with Registry of this Court within two weeks. He was also directed to furnish a personal bond in the sum of Rs. 50,000/- and the surety in the like amount before the learned Appellate Court i.e. Additional Sessions Judge, Nagpur. 3.
By this application, the applicant seeks permission to deposit cash security instead of furnishing surety. I do not see any reason to deny the relief claimed. The applicant is permitted to deposit cash
39.APPR 287.2022 in Revn 188.2022222 security instead of furnishing surety as directed by this Court by order dated 12/08/2022. The applicant to deposit the cash security within three weeks before the Appellate Court i.e. Additional Sessions Court, Nagpur.
