The petitioner has approached this Court with a grievance that the investigation has not been conducted in a proper manner. In the reply filed on behalf of the State, it is submitted that charge-sheet was filed with material, which was available. It is further submitted that further investigation is in progress and additional material, if made available, supplementary charge-sheet will be filed under Section 178(8) of the Criminal Procedure Code. In that view of the matter, we find that the grievance made by the petitioner is no more survive. The respondents are, however, directed to conduct further investigation expeditiously and on the material being available, file supplementary charge-sheet under sub-section (8) of Section 173 of Cr.P.C.

Writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
