By order dated 14.06.2017, this Court had directed the aforesaid Court to dispose of the appeal within a period of one year. Considering the fact that the said time period of one year elapsed in June 2018 and further period of one year has also gone, the request made by the aforesaid Court seeking extension of six months time cannot be granted. Accordingly, the Court of District Judge - 1 and Additional Sessions Judge, Bhandara is directed to dispose of Criminal Appeal No.12/2016 within a period of three months from today. It is made clear that no further extension shall be granted.
