By this writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction against the Commissioner of Police, Nagpur to grant police aid to the petitioner-M/s Kotak Mahindra Prime Limited, Nagpur to take possession of the vehicle of the borrower as per the order of the arbitrator.

We are not inclined to entertain the writ petition to grant the prayer made therein. A direction cannot be issued in the absence of any legal right to seek police aid for securing the possession of the vehicle from a borrower. At least, nothing has been pointed out on behalf of the petitioner to show that the petitioner would have a legal right to seek police protection to secure the vehicle of the borrower. In the result, we dismiss the writ petition with no order as to costs.
