The petitioner moved this application to permit him to amend the petition, as during its pendency, the petitioner sought some information from respondents. So, he wants to incorporate the same on record for proper and effective adjudication of the controversy in question. 2.

The learned Advocate for the respondent has formally objected to the same. However, considering the reasons stated in the application and the fact that the petition has yet to be admitted, we deem it appropriate to allow the application.

Hence, the application is allowed as prayed. The petitioner is directed to carry out the amendment within a period of one week and supply a copy of the amended petition to the other side immediately thereafter.
