By this criminal writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction against the respondent no.1 to release the petitioner as per the directions in the judgment in Criminal Writ Petition No.150 of 2013.

By the judgment dated 01.07.2013, in the case of the petitioner himself, in Criminal Writ Petition No.150 of 2013, this Court had directed the respondents to consider releasing the petitioner after completion of twenty six years of imprisonment including remission and set-off period. Shri Joshi, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, states that the claim of the petitioner for his release after twenty six years of imprisonment including remission and set-off period was considered by the respondents and by an order dated 26.11.2013 it was also conveyed to the petitioner, that the claim of the petitioner is favourably considered. It is stated that the petitioner would be released after completing twenty six years of imprisonment including remission and set-off period.

WP651-17 Since the relief sought by the petitioner stands granted by the order of the State Government, dated 26.11.2013, the criminal writ petition is disposed of. Order Accordingly.
