This is an application for condonation of delay in -ling appeal under Section 173 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. 3.
The applicant is the original claimant who had -led Motor Accident Claims petition seeking compensation on account of injury su4ered in the accident. Learned Counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant has su4ered 40% permanent disability and on account of the problems faced by him due to the accident including -nancial problems he was not able to -le the appeal in time. It is submitted that the delay of 245 days is unintentional. 4.
In response to the notices on this application respondent no.2 has appeared. Nobody appears for respondent no.1. 5.
Having regard to the contents of the application and the submissions advanced, delay of 245 days is condoned. 6.
Application is allowed and disposed of.
