Criminal Application (APPA) No. 670/2019 1.

The appellant is convicted for offence punishable under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and Section 13 (2) of the said Act and sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for six months and one year respectively.

In view of the relatively short duration of the sentence, the substantive sentence is suspended till the final disposal of the appeal.

3.

The appellant shall be released on bail, as in trial Court.
