Considering the short issue involved, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal by issuing Rule and making it returnable forthwith.

Learned in-charge Government Pleader waives service of notice for the respondent.

According to the petitioners, on 25.06.2021 the proposal seeking approval to the appointment made on the post of Junior Clerk and Peon has submitted in the office of the respondent. On 04.08.2021, the proposal insofar as the appointment on the post of Junior Clerk is concerned, came to be allowed. There is no communication with regard to the proposal insofar as approval is sought for the post of Peon. The petitioners, therefore, pray for a direction to be issued

2 15wp5130.23.odt to the respondent to communicate the decision, if any, taken on the proposal of the petitioners.

In the aforesaid facts, the following order would serve the ends of justice :- (a) The respondent is directed to consider and decide the proposal dated 25.06.2021 insofar as approval to the appointment of petitioner no.3 on the post of Peon, if his proposal is not yet decided after hearing the petitioners. The decision taken be communicated to the petitioners.

(b) This exercise be completed within a period of four weeks of receiving the copy of this order. 5.

All questions and contentions on merit are kept open.

Rule is disposed of in aforesaid terms.
