DATED : AUGUST 18, 2016 By this writ petition, the petitioner has sought a direction against the respondents to continue his service as a Lecturer till he attains the age of 62 years in pursuance of the policy of the State Government. Shri Fulzele, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents, states that by the Government Resolution dated 6/8/2016, earlier Resolution of the State Government dated 4/9/2015 is modified by way of corrigendum and the petitioner is entitled to continue his service as a Lecturer till the age of 62 years without imposition of any condition. It is stated that in pursuance of the Government Resolution dated 6/8/2016, the grievance of the petitioner would stand redressed.

Shri Deshpande, learned Counsel for the petitioner, on perusing Government Resolution dated 6/8/2016 fairly states that grievance of the petitioner

2/3 stands redressed as the petitioner is entitled to continue as a Lecturer till he attains the age of 62 years. In view of the aforesaid statements, we dispose of the writ petition with no order as to costs. It is needless to mention that respondents should release the unpaid salary of the petitioner in pursuance of the said order, at the earliest. Order accordingly.
