DATE : 25/10/2023 Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks withdrawal of the present writ petition with liberty to apply afresh with a request that his subsequent acquittal under Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POCSO Act) shall be considered by the Authority.

In view of above, the present writ petition stands disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.

The Authority shall consider subsequent acquittal of the applicant under KOLHE

2 / 2 17-wp 539.2023 POCSO Act and pass appropriate order in accordance with law.

If the application is filed within two weeks, it shall be disposed of within four wees thereafter.
