The petitioner may avail the alternate and efficacious remedy by filing appeal under Rule 16 of the Maharashtra Prisons (Furlough and Parole) Rules, 2024. Accordingly, we permit the petitioner to avail the said remedy within 15 days from today.

The appeal be filed within 15 days from today before the Appellate Authority and the Appellate Authority shall decide the appeal within stipulated time i.e. 30 days from the date of filing appeal.

Petition stands disposed of in above terms.
