Heard Shri Dangre, learned counsel for the petitioner, Shri Kankale, learned AGP for respondent Nos. 1 & 3 and Shri Kalmegh, learned counsel for respondent No. 2. Nobody appears for respondent No. 4, though served. There is appearance for respondent No. 5 also.

Shri Dangre, learned counsel submits that in pursuance to interim orders passed by this Court, the proposal of the petitioner for grant of approval as Secretary of Respondent No. 4 - A.P.M.C. was sent to Respondent No. 2 and Respondent No. 2 has approved it vide order dated 31.01.2014. He submits that thus the challenge in the present petition is rendered infructuous as the petitioner is already working as a Secretary. Shri Kalmegh, learned counsel for respondent No. 2 does not dispute this.

In this situation, accepting the statement of the petitioner, we dispose of the present challenge as
