The grievance of the petitioners is that the District Supply Officer is not proceeding with the matter as per the directions given by the Deputy Commissioner (Supplies) by the order passed on 12th April, 2016, but is insisting for amicable settlement.

The order passed by the Deputy Commissioner (Supplies) on 12th April, 2016 is binding on the District Supply Officer and clause (2) of the operative part of the above order directs the District Supply Officer to consider the situation prevailing, within one month after the order was passed on 12th April, 2016 and to pass a reasoned order in the matter.

It is hoped and trusted that the District Supply Officer shall act as per the directions given by the Deputy Commissioner (Supplies) as above.

With the above observations, the petition is disposed. No costs.
