It is submitted by the learned advocate for the appellant that the appellant is in jail since 13th May, 2016. The learned A.P.P. as well as learned advocate appearing for the appellant has pointed out that prosecutions for the offences under the Maharashtra Prohibition Act are pending against the appellant. The appellant resides in the neighbourhood of the complainant.

Considering the facts on record, I am not inclined to grant prayer made in this application for suspension of sentence, the application is dismissed.

CRI. APPEAL NO. 445/2018 The appellant shall file private paper book. The appellant is granted liberty to request for hearing of the appeal after private paper book is filed.
