Learned Assistant Government Pleader has tendered across the bar an affidavit dated 21/08/2023. The same is accepted.

According to the said affidavit, the process of acquisition has already commenced and the preliminary notification u/s 11(1) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 was issued on 20/07/2023. 4.

The petition, therefore, does not survive in the light of the aforesaid submission.

The petition is accordingly dismissed. No costs.
