By this petition, the petitioner alleged that there is disobedience of the order passed by this Court on 22nd November, 2024. The perusal of the order shows that there is an interim relief, directing the respondents that no coercive action should be taken against the petitioner.

It is alleged that though this order is in operation, the departmental inquiry is continued against the petitioner and accordingly it is submission of the petitioner that continuation of departmental inquiry amounts to disobedience of the order of this Court. 3.

We have perused the order dated 22nd November, 2024 passed by this Court. After going through the order, we are of the view that there is no specific order of this Court stating that an inquiry should not be conducted against the petitioner nor petitioner is in a position to demonstrate that till date any coercive action is taken against the petitioner. The whole submission is under apprehension that adverse action may be passed against him.

In view of above, we see no disobedience of the order dated 22nd November, 2024 by the respondent. Accordingly, the contempt petition is dismissed. No order as to costs. [PRAVIN S. PATIL, J.] [SMT. M.S.JAWALKAR, J.] SKNair
