DATED : 16/11/2022 The applicants seek permission to intervene in the present writ petition by urging that they have filed Writ Petition (L) No. 14306/2021 before the Principal Seat wherein challenge has been raised to the Government Resolution dated 29.06.2016 as well as subsequent Government Resolution in the matter of grant of subsidy in electricity tariff. In the application, it is stated that adjudication of the present writ petition would affect the rights of the applicants, especially the challenge raised to the aforesaid Government Resolutions.

The application is opposed by the learned Counsel for the petitioners.

Having perused the application and prayers made in the writ petition preferred by the applicants, the prayers made in the civil application are granted. The applicants are permitted to intervene in the present writ petition. The civil application is disposed of. 4.
