The applicants are seeking bail in connection with Crime No.573 of 2022 dated 11.08.2022, registered with Police Station, Digras, District Yavatmal, for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 304B read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The applicant No.1 is the mother-in-law, applicant No.2 is the father-in-law and applicant No.3 is the brother-in-law of the deceased.

The accused No.1, husband of the deceased is in jail.

As far as the present applicants are concerned, general allegations are made that, there was a demand of amount to purchase a Tractor and further there are other general allegations about the ill-treatment meted out to the deceased by the applicant.

From the FIR, it can be seen that, just before the commission of suicide, the deceased received a phone call from the accused No.1 i.e. from her husband and thereafter, she was looking disturbed.

Considering the general and vague allegations against the applicants and further that, the statements which are recorded are of the close relatives of the deceased, and there is no statement of any independent witnesses, there is no incriminating material against the present applicants to show their custodial interrogation is necessary. Accordingly, I pass the following order:
a) The criminal application is allowed.
b) The ad-interim anticipatory bail granted by this Court on 06/09/2022 is confirmed.
