The only relief sought by the petitioner is for expeditious consideration of the petitioner's application for renewal of the lease that is pending with the respondent No.2. An application in that regard has been made by the petitioner on 22.7.2020. It is urged that on an earlier occasion the lease was renewed on 8.9.2015 for five years. 4.

Considering these facts, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent No.2 to consider the petitioner's application dated 22.7.2020 for renewal of the lease in accordance with law. A decision in that regard be taken within a period of three months from the date of receipt of this order. It would be open for the Collector to consider the decision of this Court in Writ Petition No.3249/2020 (Ajitkumar Amolakchand Jain V/s. The Collector, Gondia) with connected matter decided on 15.9.2022 while deciding such application.
