The only prayer made in the petition is for a direction to the respondent-Education Officer (Secondary) to decide the proposal for appointment of the petitioner on the post of Librarian. According to the petitioner, though the proposal was submitted in the year 2013, the respondent has not decided it till date.

Mrs. Taiwade, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for the respondent no.1, states on instructions that the proposal of the petitioner is pending and the same would be decided within a period of four weeks.

We accept the statement made on behalf of the Education Officer (Secondary) which would be binding on the Education Officer (Secondary). We dispose of the writ petition by accepting the aforesaid statement with no order as to costs. C.A.W. NO.2884/2014.

With the disposal of the writ petition, the civil application stands disposed of.
