The applicant is arraigned as accused 2 in 543/2021 registered with Police Station Sakkardara, Nagpur for offences punishable under sections 306, 294, 506 read with 34 of IPC and section 39 and 45 of the Maharashtra Money Lending Act and is in custody since 18.10.2021. 2.
The offence is registered in connection with the unfortunate suicide of Mr. Purushottam Kolankar who was the father of the informant.

Accused 1 Payal is the daughter of the applicant. Accused 3, 4 and 5 are her relatives. It is not in dispute that the investigation is complete, the charge-sheet is prepared and is likely to be filed soon and that the co-accused are released on bail.

The allegations are serious and indeed disturbing
ba1143.21.O.odt in the sense that prima facie the deceased was pressurized and mentally harassed, if the suicide note is taken at face value, to return the loan with exorbitant interest. 5.
However, considering that accused 1 against whom similar, if not more serious, allegations are levelled is released on bail, that the applicant is a woman, that the investigation is complete, I am inclined to grant bail. 6.
The application is allowed.

The applicant shall be released on bail on executing personal bond of Rs.16,000/- (Rupees Sixteen Thousand) with a solvent surety of like amount. 8.
The applicant shall not make any attempt to tamper with the evidence or to influence witnesses, directly or indirectly.
9.
The applicant shall not leave the country without the permission of the jurisdictional court.
