Hearing was conducted through Video Conferencing and the learned counsel for the parties agreed that the audio and video quality was proper.

After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, it has transpired that the State of Maharashtra has issued Government Resolution dated 08.05.2020 stipulating the modalities for release of prisoners on parole. In view of aforesaid, the petitioner is permitted to move a fresh application for grant of parole within a period of one week from today. If such application is moved by the petitioner, the respondent no.2 shall decide the same within a period of one week thereafter.
